Cuddly Toys of Death

Posted by Jill Harness in Animal, Arts & Crafts on December 30, 2008 at 10:21 pm

If you’re sick of all the cute, sweet plushies out there, then these great toys are for you. They’re by artist Patricia Waller who has a ton of other awesome designs as well. These specific toys belong to her “Accident” series and the “How to kill your first love” series. I love the teddy bear myself.

I dont think its a very good idea to have dolls that are dying. Others may like it, but I think its sic.
Why do people like death so much?
All these pictures of skulls everywhere!
    Those things are dead!
Why symbolize the dead? that is so not cool.
    Definitely not awesome!
    just speaking out my opinion

I think those toys are awesome! Why not like death? Why not laugh at it or about it? Death isn’t bad or something to fear as most people seem to think. It’s a part of life! No one gets out of here alive after all!

I clicked the link. The dead things are one thing, but the handicapped stuff was flat out disturbing.

Yes, it’s a repost (all the way from 2005), but it’s still neat!

actually.. its always bothered me that dog toys are made in the shapes of other animals…. anyone else have a problem with those or is it just me?

I don’t know if it’s disturbing. They just beg the question “why?”

That is just sick. In the bad way, not the new cool way.

seekshelter… dogs are predators. Granted, most dogs don’t go around chasing fluffy purple animals in the wild, but I would guess that the idea behind making dog toys into the shapes of other animals falls in line with that idea. Dogs eat other animals if given half the chance. I’ve had to wrestle a screaming rabbit from my dog before.

    Ha, i don’t think it’s sick… It’s funny, but that’s my opinion.
I mean it’s a toy that obviously isn’t meant for children so it’s hopefully a mature(ish)adult like person.

    Yupperz kids.
