Strange Christmas Trees

By Alex in Christmas on Dec 19, 2008 at 2:21 pm

It’s less than a week to go to Christmas, so it’s time to trot out last year’s fruitcake (hey, it’s still good! Fruitcakes last forever) and this Neatorama’s post: World’s Most Unusual Christmas Trees.

Are you ready for Christmas? What are you doing this year that’s different from last year?

Different from last year? Who needs a tree when you can just have the lights?

This year is full of firsts, first Christmas in our new house, first Christmas with the baby, first Christmas having relatives come HERE instead of us going there, my first Christmas as a hostess (and mommy).

Unfortunately I can’t climb onto the roof attach lights to the eves no matter how much I want to. 2 story house, no ladder.

This Christmas will be very different for me! New house, new boyfriend, and my Mom is hosting Christmas dinner (she’s usually out of town for the holiday). W00t!

About 12 years ago, my mom and I were driving around and saw an upside-down Christmas tree in someone’s front window. We went back the next day with my brother and my father and it was gone… the house wasn’t decorated at all. We KNOW we saw it, but of course, everyone else thinks we’re a little nutty.
My mom moved 800 miles away earlier this year, so Christmas will be very different this year without her.

Hey that last tree…the Charlie Brown Christmas tree! Where can I get one of those? Does Amazon sell them?

Where is the Charlie Brown Christmas tree after the kids decorate it with Snoopy’s stuff?

The tiny hole in the wall bar I used to frequent. Had no choice but to hang the Xmas tree from the ceiling. Otherwise it would take up to much space. The place had 10 foot ceilings but very little floor space.
It used to decorated with fishing lures.
