The subway entrances in Toulouse, France are adorned with modern pixel art! Each station is different. I particularly like this Tetris station entrance. See more at Fubiz. Link -Thanks, Matt!

    This is cool. NYC should do something like this to keep the subway entrances from looking less ghetto.

    Interestingly, the name of this station ("Trois Cocus") is Three Cuckold....

    According to French Wikipedia, the area was originally called "Tres Cocuts", which is Occitan for Three Cuckoos. Through a misunderstanding, it became "Trois Cocus" in French.

    10 years from now it will look really cheap. Maybe they change out this kind of stuff every so often. If so, then I like it.

    Hehe this station is near my office.
    The station afeter is called "La vache" (the cow)
    Very nice pixel art in every station in Toulouse...
