Zombie Hand Mushroom - Neatorama

One day, Fendy Sutandio of Orimath blog looked at his garden and found this strange "Zombie Hand" fungus. It does look like a zombie's hand digging itself out of its grave!

I love how it appears to be emerging from a ruffly white lace sleeve. Very Victorian, as if it were the zombiefied remains of a frail young girl who wasted away from consumption.

Yeah, I can imagine seeing it and thinking not much of it, either. It doesn't look real, so there's nothing to get excited over.
