I'm an atheist whose only interest in Christmas is family, food, and alcohol, but even I know to keep it about that, and not sit numbly in front of the TV ignoring everyone. At the very least, "grandma", the best seat in the house is hers, not only because it's her house, but because she's the eldest. Strange.
