Amanda Palmer is a bit too pretentious. Try having a conversation with her some time. It’s not very fun.

Yeah eff Amanda Palmer and her army of drones.

Brian rules though. Too bad the Dresden Dolls are DUNZO.

Not often does Neatorama disappoint but this is one of those times.

@Gordon: I have had plenty of conversations with her and can’t agree with your opinion. Then again, as a long-time friend of hers I might be a bit biased.

    Arrogant? Sure. Pretentious? Nah…

I do agree though, this somehow doesn’t fit Neatorama.

Neil Gaiman wrote this? it doesn’t seem very ‘Gaiman’ish

Better if it wasn’t live. Doesn’t fit neatorama somehow.

I’d say she’s more of an exhibitionist with a touch of megalomania. But in a nice way. :)

I looked at this because of Gaiman’s name.
    Now I’m disappointed.

She is a friend of the family and aside from being extremely talented she is just a regular person. I am always surprised to see people calling her arrogant, pretentious or megalomaniacal. Jealousy?

I haven’t heard megalomaniacal, but friends who have known her for years do use terms like pretentious, borderline personality disorder, and stalker.
