6-Wheeled Car Enters Production

By John Farrier in Auto & Transportation on Dec 12, 2008 at 10:14 pm

The Covini Six Wheeler, its designers argue, has superior steering and braking capability due to its extra set of wheels. It will be available to buyers starting in 2009.

That thing must weigh a lot. Also the middle set of wheels must be mounted without an axle. Can’t wait until it shows up on Top Gear.

Well that’s just hideous, now. It’s like a six-legged horse, or some such.

There’ve been some 6-wheeled race cars made before. They didn’t catch on.

Put Jeremy Clarkson in it and then we’ll see if it’s any good.

The only 6-wheeled race car was the Tyrell P34.
