The cable belongs to the winch. Therefore, the word you need to use is winch’s, not winches. Winches means more than one winch.

Love the shifty way they try to make it look like a bunch of guys just decided to go surfing. Not a bad way to promoting your product by doing something no else has ever done. Surf on the square.
