These are up all over Auckland (the gear was taken a few streets over from my place), one’s up at the top of my street. He was stealing several thousands of dollars worth of transformers used to light the billboard.

The pop. of NZ is up over 4.2 million these days.

Um, cool, but Aukland is NZ’s biggest city with over a million residents. Wellington, the capital, has about 300,000 or so (these figures are probably out of date, but give a roough idea of comparative sizes of the two cities)

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. Auckland is the largest city, it’s population is around a million. Forty million sheep, three million people in the prettiest spot on the planet!

I like how the thief is being really safety-concious by wearing the bright orange vest. In fact that should be another rule … don’t wear bright clothing when stealing.
