i thinks this was just a trick to fool the police. guys just had nothing to do and after a reasonable amount of beer drunk, they decided to take parents' piano to the forest:)

Just leave it alone. Whoever put it there obviously did not do so by accident, they probably just like to play piano in the woods. I cant imagine why the police were even informed of this.

ali s... thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard... why on earth would this lady call the police, i hate how people have to call the police for everything now. if theres a perfectly in tact piano thats in tune out in the middle of nature, then obviously someone is going out there to jam and probably prefers to be surrounded by nature while doing it. who wouldnt?

A number of years ago my wife & I were driving through rural Iowa, and drove by an old upright piano sitting on the shoulder of the highway. It looked like it had fallen off the back of a truck; much of the wood was torn up & broken, and small parts were lying all over. I don't think it was still in tune.

One time I worked on a music video where we dragged a piano we had gotten free from a church into the middle of the woods for a shot. It was so hard to get of the mud at the end of the day we probably thought about leaving it behind.
