If you’re a fan of the original version of the game Monopoly, then you might do quite well with today’s Lunchtime Quiz at mental_floss. How many properties featured in the game can you name in five minutes? You’ll do better than I did… I named three and then gave up! Link

    Finished with 1:52 remaining... harder than I thought it would be.

    wow, I had a horrible time. I could picture the board, all of the colors, and my brain blanked out.
    The ones I did remember - my spelling was off somewhere.

    @HaricotVert - amazing, I don't know how you did it.

    Fail. If it's not the proper version of Monopoly (Mayfair, Park Lane, Old Kent Road) then it doesn't count. Told.

    apparently I cannot spell 'Connecticut'

    Orpheus is referring to the property names in the non-US edition (I think)

    Monopoly is one of the worst games ever. They really should rename it "Practice cheating and ruin a perfectly good family night."

    i play this game too much, it appears. i got all but two of the pinks, st. charles and states avenue.
