This reminds me of a very old Warner Bros. cartoon, called “The Portable Hole”. A scientist’s greatest invention was stolen, and used for various crimes.

I for one wouldn’t steal. I would rather do something to mess the mind up for the person who opens the vault each time. Maybe put a stuffed animal or a creepy picture.
