You may have heard these quotes all your life, but can you identify the source? Today’s Lunchtime Quiz at mental_floss will give you a phrase, and you decide whether it’s from the Bible or the works of Shakespeare. I scored 70%. Link

    It’s not that hard… Just mark the ones in iambic pentameter as Shakespeare, those that aren’t as the Bible. That’s what I did, and I got 100%.

    80% There are two Shakespeare quotes that aren’t 10 syllables… considering most of Shakespeare is in iambic pentameter.

    60%. I thought I’d do better. but I did use iambic – I just tried to ‘feel out’ the ones I didn’t recognize.
