Yo yo, chill, y'all. Drop it like it's hot, and get down with the new Admin. It will be relaxed, now that CPT will prevail.

Have fun watching out for Bad Black English, which will be everywhere one of the black members of the Obama posse shows up. It's not nit picking, it is observing telltale signs of imprecise thinking and the advancement of the mediocre through affirmative action. Valerie Jarrett and Michelle O are the poster children. Don't mean to be offensive, just making observations based upon a lifetime of quality education and work experience.

@ Red:

Hate for Obama? No. I think you're reading a lot more into what I've said about Obama than you should. Pity is probably more accurate. That and disdain for his proposed policies and his philosophy on the economy & society. Also a bit of contempt for the system that would put someone that unqualified for the job on the ballot for President, and a lot of contempt for a media machine that helped him get elected.

Now that he's won the election, he'll be in charge, so arguing that he isn't qualified is pretty much wasted breath. I'll support him as best as I can, as I have respect for the office, if not for the man.

Palin was
4 years in city council
6 years as mayor
1 year in the oil and gas commission
2 years as governor

In each position she did nothing but positive things for her state.

So Miller, just two years track record. Lets count up Obama's, oops he doesn't have one. try again. If you want to insult Canadians I am with you. Insult yourself away. Really, nobody cares what a Canadian thinks. Hell they can't decide if they lick Our boots the Queens heels or Sarkozy's Garter.
So, you forgot about the dirt part. Where was it?
Just curious.

Just to comment on

"I would love to see these arguments made against McCain. I would really love to see them made against Palin. Show me the dirt on her…"

Dirt on Palin?

Is there dirt in a place above Canada that's constantly covered in snow? She's more Canadian than I am!

But hey, if you would rather have someone that lives in butt fk nowhere run your country... I have an uncle that lives on an island up north. He doesn't have much in the looks department... but hes shot a few moose before too!

Absurd if you ask me. She has a track record of what... two years?

Why not just make her Chief of Staff of the Army. She's just as Qualified as she's shot a gun before.

Not to worry though. She'll have her chance on "Dancing with the Stars"

@ Rob

Obama won, get over it!

From a Canadian here.

Bush was great for our economy in ways. Our Dollar actually topped yours for a long while. Yes, the Canadian dollar actually topped the American. A country of roughly 33 million people. That's sad!

Honestly though, I think we Canadians are happy just having a leader to the south who could at least fake a decent I.Q.

You guys need change. You really need change, otherwise the giant is going to fall! That's not in Canada's best interest either.

Cheers

Republicans think Obama is getting rid of jobs they don't have. And taxing money they are not making.

Record layoffs this year and Obama isn't even in office.

Circuit City is shutting down 155 stores and cutting how many jobs in the process?

Why?

Because Americans don't have money.

Now ask yourself why Americans don't have money?

Then you can answer the question as to why Obama was able to win an election with "no experience" and "no good ideas" and just a bunch of "Hope".

Well... that's all the Republicans have left us with after 8 years in office.

HOPE.

Republicans are mad that they messed up things so bad that they pretty much are the reason why Obama won. They really are mad at themselves. Even Fox is saying the Republican party is dead...

"You cannot survive in a free market if you don’t grow."

But if your growth comes from cutting out Amercians, you are cutting off you nose in spite of your face. This is a free country. But I don't think our tax dollars should help them do it. I don't believe in a tax break to help a company's profit. Obama's plan does include reversing that TAX CUT so he does address that issue. I think it is okay for a business to do what it needs to do to make profits. I own my own business. 2 of them. But there comes a point where the business practices can be anti-American and I do not support that.

"I say bravo to the 1%ers. Good job getting there and thank you for owing and running the corporations who provide jobs to Americans and actually pay taxes back into our system."

Are you not seeing thousands of jobs being cut? Not to mention how some of these corporations made their money? Are you not aware of the massive investigation into all of these entities wish is being pushed by both Republicans and Democrats for the whole market melt down due to this greed?

Obama did not ignore the Russia incident. He relied on the Diplomacy in place to properly handle that situation. McCain tried to use it as a platform to make Obama look weak instead of do what is best for our country. Like I said, he agreed with Obama's actions 2 weeks later. His move back fired just like when he froze his campaign. That is why it rarely comes up anymore. They will use Wright, Ayers and Acorn but they don't bring up Russia.

Palin has plenty of dirt. Hell... it's even coming out on FOX. She gets to go back to Alaska and face an investigation.

Reading your points gives me the impression that you see nothing wrong with our current situation how corrupt our corporations are and Obama is going to mess up what is going so well. Have you talked to anyone who is losing a home because of the bait lending practices?

Not only did I quit my second full time job. After that, I held a Real Estate license for 2 years and worked in Scottsdale AZ . I sold 1 house for 500,000 and I actually tried to talk them out of the purchase just like I did for my other 9 buyer clients. Because I saw the patterns of greed. It doesn't make sense to give someone an ARM loan when you can sign them up for a regular fixed rate loan at a higher rate. At least the payment is fixed and people wouldn't default when their house payment balloons. But see, that is what Republicans want when they say deregulate. They do not want government from stepping in and stopping their abuse. I see it all around me. These corporations that you are fighting for are the same companies that are literally in bed with Oil Company reps.

Look at Bank of America. Not only were the strong enough not to need a bailout, they actually bought out another bank. And now look at what they are doing. Rewriting the loans so they make sense. And the CEO makes a nice 25 million compared to the 200 million these other dummies made sinking a business... SEE HOME DEPOT.

I produce Hip Hop for a living.

Look at Bank of America. Not only were the strong enough not to need a bailout, they actually bought out another bank. And now look at what they are doing. Rewriting the loans so they make sense. And the CEO makes a nice 25 million compared to the 200 million these other dummies made sinking a business… SEE HOME DEPOT.

I produce Hip Hop for a living.

Ominous,

So what you are saying about the Georgia/Russia situation is that ignoring it would make it go away. Diplomacy at its finest! Ignoring situations doesn't make them stop. Ignoring Iraq for 8 years led to the war we are in. If you don't like it, think about the ethnic cleansing that was going on and ask yourself if it was better to let a race die because you didn't feel like helping. Every action you have has reprecussions in the future. Obama may have not realized this when he made buddies with a police station bomber, a PLO organizer, a racist anti-american Preacher and his obviously racist wife (before you try to burn me on that one read her thesis).
You dont seem to have a firm grasp of the obvious on economic policy. Our society here is a Capitalist, Democratic Republic. We are the middlemen of the world. We exist because of this fact. With Capitalism comes greed. You cannot survive in a free market if you don't grow. In order to grow, you have to want to grow. Nature teaches us this. You can watch it in a garden in a flock of pigeons at cafe or in every pre-school in America. I am sorry your dad was burned, it is a fact of life in this and every country in the world that this will happen. Obama however doesn't have a plan for these kind of actions so I don't see how it fits.
I generalized all americans are fat and lazy. Compare them to any major nation in the world. I am. I still work and work hard but I am fat. Mississippi home cookin is to blame....
Good for you on getting the second job and for doing your taxes. Maybe you should pay more attention to what the stockholders in your organization are doing and decide if you really want to work there.
I work ridiculous hours in construction/engineering and I have built a second business from the ground up. I do two sets of taxes and still have both jobs. My favorite view is the one of the the local reparations department parking lot on teh first of the month. I like to count expensive rims, big hairdos and Lincoln navigators parked out front. There are always alot.
I say bravo to the 1%ers. Good job getting there and thank you for owing and running the corporations who provide jobs to Americans and actually pay taxes back into our sysytem (those folks at the welfare dept sure don't, nor do the illegal aliens like Obama's aunt).
I would love to see these arguments made against McCain. I would really love to see them made against Palin. Show me the dirt on her...
So you don't like the Hip Hop?

@ Dave:

All this hate you have for Obama... but where is it for the President who brought us here? Obama isn't even in office yet and you want to place blame on his shoulders. It is hilarious to me.

You have so much love for Palin and hate Obama. What did Palin offer our Country that Obama didn't?

Yeah... in 4 years. I know where to find you. I will apologize for doubting you infinite wisdom.... or maybe not....

Time will tell.

@ Rob:
This Hip Hop reference was for Dave since in my last post, he told me to leave politics to "THINKING" people and I should stick to hip hop.

On Russia:
Content to let Georgia suffer? This is what I mean by warped views. If you have 2 wars going on, you don't start a 3rd one. He was being cautious. not a bad trait to have for a President.

On Corporations and greed:
It might not work for you but it works for me and my Dad right in Phoenix AZ. After 23 years in the Air Force, he gets a job with Home Depot in their Electrical Department. What happens? The CEO makes millions raping the company in stock options. He lays off half the staff to pump up the profit margin, then turns around and sells his stocks and doesn't even show up to the next stock share holder meeting because he knows what he did was criminal. The company stock takes a dive because the no longer have a decent workforce to help drive the company. My HARD WORKING Father and thousands of others get laid off in the path of greed.

I worked for the same company for 10 years straight. And during that period I even picked up a second full time job for a year and 4 months exactly. I quite my second job the day I filed for taxes. SO to assume that Obama supporters are lazy is insulting and makes anti-Obama people look ignorant.

And I'll say it one more time. The company I worked for screwed hard working Americans for greed and profit and this os happening on a mass scale and that is what is killing out country.

1% of our populations has over 90% of the money in our economy. How does this make any sense?

All I am saying is... GIVE ME A GOOD REASON TO VOTE FOR McCain/Palin.

McCain voted with Bush over 90% of the time. He says it himself. Every argument made against Obama can be used against McCain and 10 times over against Palin. If Obama is as messed up as you guys think, why hasn't the CIA or FBI come up with any dirt on him?

@ Josh:
"Things like him saying his proposals will bankrupt Coal Fired Power Plants does not help my willing to like him. around 50% of America is using Coal for power."

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? This is what I am talking about right here. Do some homework man. McCain's people were quoted saying the exact same thing in 2005. Watch a little more Daily Show. They showed the actual clip of his top advisor saying McCain's own plan will bankrupt the coal Plants. And, is you dig a little further, you would learn that Obama's plan bankrupts coal plants if they do not start using clean coal technology. They would get heavily taxed for their huge carbon imprint. So Obama is not out to get Coal Plants.... if the use clean coal technology, they are fine.

Again, you guys attack Obama but tell me how McCain was gonna fix things. You can't because he had no proposal to do so.

Also, I'd like to congratulate those who voted for Obama, as it really was a vote that didn't just change your country, but changed the world. My expectations of America have gone up. Good for you all.

Santé et bonheur ! To Mr. Obama from an American student living in France.

@ Everyone who calls Obama a socialist:

Speaking as a believer in the socialist system who is currently living in a socialist country, Obama is a political moderate (especially on the world stage). I am very excited about his presidency, but he is by no means my ideal candidate.

Stephen Colbert's response to this claim was the perfect one. He brought the socialist party's candidate for president on stage during his show and got him to explain why Obama was not, in fact, a socialist.

Also, I am happy that John McCain can now go back to being a statesman I respect instead of a politician I find distasteful.

I don't watch tv, and unless you count neatorama.com as a serious newssource, I don't get news off the internet. I will say that one of the things that influenced me the most to vote for Obama was McCain supporters themselves. I have received on a daily basis at least one nasty mud-slinging anti-Obama piece of mail from McCain supporters for the past several months. However, I did not receive anything of the like against McCain. I would say that McCain supporters practically CHASED me onto the Obama side of the fence simply by not being able to have McCain stand on his own merits instead of trying to undermine the competition. It was spiteful, hateful material, and again even here in this particular forum, I hear a lot of nice supportive things from Obama supporters toward McCain, for example, how classy and dignified they felt his speech was. I wish McCain supporters were behaving likewise. So it is possible that media via mail influenced my decision, but it was all sent to me from supporters of Mr. McCain, much like yourself. I don't know if Barack Obama will be able to change this country for the better. I can honestly say that I never watched a single debate. But I can say that hope springs eternal, and THAT is what you are seeing from his supporters.

@ Oblivious Red

What I've written here about Obama is not venom; just how I see things. If you want venom, just look up some of the crap your leftist buddies wrote about Sarah Palin. And I could care less what color he is; it's his philosophy and lack of qualifications I despise. I only hear one side of this thread bringing up his race... Who is the real racist here, Red?

I don't believe I called him an idiot, just an amateur. The guy has spent a few years in the state senate and 140-some days in the US Senate. His greatest life accomplishment is apparently working as a community organizer, whatever that is. He's an amateur and had no business running for the highest office in the country.
What I’ve written here about Obama is not venom; just how I see things. If you want venom, just look up some of the crap your leftist buddies wrote about Sarah Palin. And I could care less what color he is; it’s his philosophy and lack of qualifications I despise. I only hear one side of this thread bringing up his race… Who is the real racist here, Red?

I don’t believe I called him an idiot, just an amateur. The guy has spent a few years in the state senate and 140-some days in the US Senate. His greatest life accomplishment is apparently working as a community organizer, whatever that is. He’s an amateur and had no business running for the highest office in the country. The country is divided in half, and the egg will be on your face when the situation gets nowhere but worse in the next four years.

That is nearly identical to what every Obama supporter I hear from. They spout Change for America without know what kind of Change he stands for. He spent alot of him time trying to hide his past or denies his past. Nearly everytime he talked it was scripted and when it was not something awful came out. Obama dodge tough questions and talked around them. He never confronted a single tough question even in the debates.

Obama twisted everyone's view on McCain being Bush when it is closer to Obama being Bush.

In all the media chose our President not us. Too many people believe the news today. I stopped taking the news seriously over 10 years ago. I did not vote for McCain in the primaries but I sucked it up and voted for him in the general.

I voted for president for the first time ever, and I'm 34 years old. I am not deeply entrenched in politics as so many people are. But I have seen the decline in our country in the past 8 years, and I voted for Obama, because something desperately needs changed, and I could see that it was NOT going to happen with McCain in office. McCain appears to be very similar to our current President Bush, and although I realize that George W. started out his presidency on a seriously sour note with 9/11, he has had quite a few years to try and fix things for the better, and it has not happened. Obama is hope for our nation not only because it shows how our country has progressed in a very short period of time regarding race, but because he is offering something different from what we have now. And what we have now is not good.
I am proud that Americans have shaken off their apathy and voted. It is but a first step of many.

Ominous,
I was not trying to write a novel outlining every point but since the guantlet has been thrown...
-Ominous, "Your hate has warped your perception. He never said he was gonna just “talk” to our enemies. But he believes in Diplomacy."
I have no hate. I believe that he is weak on foreign relations. He was content to let Georgia suffer the wrath of the Motherland. I want no war with Russia, If you knew me you would know that I work for a Russian company. One who outsources work, away from Russia so that us poor Americans have jobs
This one kinda falls flat for me based on my job -"Corporations get a tax break for outsourcing jobs. So not only do they save money but paying someone overseas $10,000 instead of paying an American $35,000, the government gives them a tax break for doing it. So the government, in essence, paid the company to fire you. And we Americans, continue to support those companies…. how does that make sense. Obama is talking about stopping the bleeding."-this kinda doesn'nt work in my small middle America town especially when the two of the three largest employers are foreign companies. Don't mention the fact that the third is an American company, It has hired no new people in 15 years to it's workforce and yeah, it's union so everyone on the blue side make ridiculously high wages while working minimal hours with a 'its not my job' attitude. They quit hiring white collars out there instead they use temps because they are easier to fire and they don't have to pay them insurance. I guess that is what Obama wants to protect. By the way, they are the only ones who have sucessfully laid off their entire workforce several times a decade for the past forty years.
Health care. Really, do you honestly can implement his plan without bankrupting our already broken economy? With the debt we have how do you really figure that one will work? Have you ever talked to someone who lives in a universal healthcare country. Just ask them how awesome it is. When you are scheduled for your first sonogram in a pregnancy 9 months from your first visit to the GYN you will learn to love it. It should be okay right? you can still by your own coverage to supplement(?) it. I guess that is great for the people who cant afford it.... oh well.
Companies who outsource jobs to other countries pay on average better to americans than those who don't. Look it up. These companies are the backbone of large industry in the US. We can't afford Americans to do many of these jobs. Don't forget how super awesome the Unions are in getting companies to fork over stupidly high hourly wages and benefits for guys who refuse to 'come together' and do what it takes to get the job done. Don't forget who's stock symbols make up the tickers on the DOW and Nasdaq Industrial averages. If people don't invest they won't have to do the hard thinking as to why those big ole evil outsourcing corporations are not pumping money back int the market hence the economy. Oh well who cares about jobs anyway?
He has told america that he will change us, he will save us. He has proclaimed himself a hero if we would just vote for him. He finally had to issue a statement saying he couldn't pull it off. (if you read it for what it is). Hence the Fairy tale Hero comment.
Now onto the the beef. When did I type the word McCain? Nope, never. You don't have a clue who I support. I never claimed any political affiliation. I could have voted for Chuck 'kick ass' Norris or Obama himself (alright that last one wasn't quite true.. I could never vote for Obama). Your perceptions should now be called int questions because you decided for yourself that I was a McCain supporter and attacked my points on that basis. You obviously like to jump for the hype. If you want insults I cannot help you out there. There were none intended, I just saw alot of vitriol in your earlier comment and knew that you were beyond sold on your ideas.
Last thing? Does everything have to be a Black thing? Really. I find that the race card at this point is about the most pathetic thing someone can pull out. This is 2008, not 1962. Sit anywhere you want on the bus, nobody worth a **** gives a ****. Race issues are focused on on both sides of the issue by racists. Lets try to come together and put that crap away. I am white, I live in a majority black community, in fact it is a historically black community. Who cares. I have never made a decision based on race and have never had the reverse make itself evident to me by the people here. Hell I am scared of the white people here. They are unbalanced, I think its the Meth. I will agree with you on one thing, I like the Hip Hop too...

So everyone voted for him just because he was black and shouted hope and change every second of the day?

I did not vote for him because of the people who he chose to stay around and associate himself with. I also did not vote for him because of the policies he is wanting to bring to America.

As far as I am concerned Obama is for a Socialist American. Him and apparently alot of Americans want the government to do everything for them.

What ever happened to the people who blamed the parents for blaming the school for not raising their children? It is the parent who should raise them not the school. This is basically the same thing. You are asking the government to provide your health care, money, housing and god knows what else. So many people are expecting Obama to pay all of their bills while they sit back and do nothing.

Obama tried so hard to pretend to be something he is not. It just happens that not enough people saw past his looks and his sweet talking without a ounce of substance.

I do hope I am wrong and Obama is not going to be what I have come to believe. Time will only tell.

Things like him saying his proposals will bankrupt Coal Fired Power Plants does not help my willing to like him. around 50% of America is using Coal for power. You decide to put strict insane taxes on their emissions and that will just be passed on to the consumers. You are for inefficient bio fuels, solar and wind power but not for highly effective Nuclear power.

I am just not willing to believe in him right now. I guess I have 4 years for him to prove he is going to do good or he will do what I assume now and that is to bring America further into a recession and hurt us more then Bush did. I cannot even consider Bush a republican anymore. He has went so far left since his re-election I is not funny at all. Bush redistributed wealth with that stimulus package which did nothing for the economy then bails out the stock market which has done nothing to help it. Obama is just another Bush in my eyes because he is asking for the same thing Bush has already done except for the tax cuts which Obama has already stated he will not renew.

I rambled enough.

I am 59 years old. I have listened to racists in my family use the N word every Thanksgiving (in front of the little kids, by the way), for as long as I can remember. I know this year it will happen again just as sure as God made little chickens. But, this year maybe it will be different for me. Maybe I will get some kind of satisfaction in knowing that we will have a black President soon and I wasn't the only one who voted for him. Not the only one who saw beyond skin color. I'll be thinking about the millions of people who stood in line to vote for him. I'll be thinking I am so thankful this Thanksgiving we have come so far because I remember when blacks were hosed down like animals. All that hate, FOR WHAT???? So...all you bigots and racists just go on hating for no reason at all if that makes you feel superior. I, for one, am so happy and content.

"Personally I do want him to live up to his promises that he can heal all of the bad diplomacy between every country just by talking to them." - ROB

Your hate has warped your perception. He never said he was gonna just "talk" to our enemies. But he believes in Diplomacy. And even McCain realized that during the Russia/Georgia problem. With our military already stretched, it would not have been a good idea to go to war with Russia. We turned to the United Nations and found other ways to handle enemies without war. Like financial sanctions. And even McCain admitted that....

"I hope he really can make money magically appear to pay for his ridiculous health care plan." - ROB

Because healthcare is already awesome and McCain's $5000 credit for a $12,000 a year plan was a better idea right?

"Yeah, he should live up to his promises of more and better paying jobs for americans in a declining economy when he decides to ax the living hell out of the business owners and the global corporations." - ROB

Corporations get a tax break for outsourcing jobs. So not only do they save money but paying someone overseas $10,000 instead of paying an American $35,000, the government gives them a tax break for doing it. So the government, in essence, paid the company to fire you. And we Americans, continue to support those companies.... how does that make sense. Obama is talking about stopping the bleeding.

This is what I am talking about. Unnecessary. Insults. But I understand. I guess I threw an insult at you so I deserve one back. But I never thought of him as a glorious hero from a fairy tale. I thought of him as a man who recognizes we have problems we all need to come together to fix them as a nation. McCain didn't even want to admit there was a problem. And if I am a fool for that...

Your hate has warped your perception. He never said he was gonna just “talk” to our enemies. But he believes in Diplomacy. And even McCain realized that during the Russia/Georgia problem. With our military already stretched, it would not have been a good idea to go to war with Russia. We turned to the United Nations and found other ways to handle enemies without war. Like financial sanctions. And even McCain admitted that….

“I hope he really can make money magically appear to pay for his ridiculous health care plan.” – ROB

Because healthcare is already awesome and McCain’s $5000 credit for a $12,000 a year plan was a better idea right?

“Yeah, he should live up to his promises of more and better paying jobs for americans in a declining economy when he decides to ax the living hell out of the business owners and the global corporations.” – ROB

For all the Socialist comments, please, please read up.

You don't know what you are talking about and I'm pretty sure you are just inciting a red-scare 2.0. Please understand that socialism is not communism and try to stop living in a 1950s McArthyist America.

If you cant even understand basic democracy, then perhaps socialism is a bit over your head.

Thanks.

"He’s not gonna change the world alone."

Thank you Lambic. This is what I don't get about Obama haters. He at least communicates the idea that he WANTS TO FIX this together. What did McCain and Palin have? Insults. And what do all the naysayers have right now in this forum thread? Just negativity. No offered solutions. Just doom and gloom. All this hate for Obama and what he is gonna do wrong. Where is the anger at Bush for where he has lead us to up to this point?

This is the part where I thank Amidala.

For giving and educated opposing argument instead of insults, fear and hate. You have clear reasons that make sense as to why you don't like Obama. But... my question to all Obama haters is... what was McCain and Palin going to do to improve America's situation?

All this bla bla. Hey everybody, Obama is one guy, we are
thousands. He's not gonna change the world alone. We have to become leaders too, and realise that one guy is not gonna fix everything, ever, but a mass of individuals will. So walk the talk and take responsability for yourselves, and pave the yellow brick road you want to walk on.

@Sadie Thompson

Last time we had a democratic president his term in office ended with the GDP or the national economy having a surplus and not a deficit and he was one of the few presidents to do so. And what led more to the economic situaution we have now is the mass de-regulation for many corporations as well as the apalling amount of money thrown into the war in Iraq and the no bid contracts for many companies that had ties to high level officials in the Bush administartion. Thus leaving the greatest national economic deficit in American history.

So, let's see how 0bama's term is going to go:

The first shock will happen before February 2009 ends, when 0bama announces that he and his advisors have, upon looking more closely at the economy, realized that they won't be able to give the tax cuts they promised.

The second shock will be when the people who were expecting tax cuts find their taxes going up as 0bama lets the Bush tax cuts expire.

Another shock will be when Biden's prediction of 0bama being tested internationally within the first 6 months happens. Just as Biden said, it won't be apparent in the short term that they're doing the right thing. Unfortunately, it won't be apparent in the long term, either.

As yesterday's Gaza strip bombing demonstrates, Israel has already realized that it cannot depend on US support anymore. As the US was not only supporting Israel, it was also helping restrain it, the Middle East will realize an unrestrained Israel is not what they really wanted.

The shocks will continue as...

...American still has troops in Iraq on December 31, 2009
...the world strangely doesn't love us all of the sudden
...taking a cue from Homer Simpson's attempt to dig his way out of a hole, 0bama tries to tax and spend the nation out of its economic hole

Well, it's nice to see anybody but Hillary Clinton in there. But, really, if Bush was so bad, how did he get in for a second term?

Many months ago, I heard a fairly smart guy say that it would be better for the Democratic party if McCain got in, because now Obama is not gonna live up to the hype. In other words, neither party presented a really strong candidate.

It's going to be interesting, but try and remember, the dude ain't Jesus.

This election is setting all sorts of records:

0bama is now the first black U.S. president.

John McCain is now the oldest person ever to lose a U.S. presidential election.

The election of 0bama has broken the record for biggest one-day post-election drop ever in the Dow Jones Average.
