i think its ironic that the taj was built by shah jahan in the name of love for his wife, the same person had no compassion for the people who toiled so hard for him,he blinded his architects and cut his workers hands. he deserved a worse punishment than what his son put him through.the taj though undoubtedly beautiful has got a dark side to it.

As a Chrysler fanatic, I am very happy to see how many people love the Chrysler Building. As the Company itself in its heyday, the Building is also the Indisputable Engineering Winner: it is the first skyscraper in the world to have Air Conditioning. Yes, by Airtemp!

I think the amazing thing about the Taj Mahal is that it was constructed without written plans - built entirely by eye and hand.

The Eiffel tower does not suck... I agree, it's an odd structure, but it is a beautiful landmark in Paris.

I agree with astrodex: I definitely prefer the look of the Chrysler Building.

It's sad that Chrysler may now become part of GM.

The popular legend of the Taj Mahal is disputed. Abundant evidence suggests that it was originally a Siva temple.

When I went to the Taj Mahal we were told a legend that the Shah had all the workers hands cut off so they'd never be able to build another monument as beautiful. But we were also told that he had commission that one for his wife when she died, and he wanted another, exacty the same, in black, directly opposite.
