when i was first starting college at Columbia college in Chicago (1989-90) i used to walk past the store that used in child's play as the toy store, it was abandoned at the time but was still all done up like it had bee nfor the movie. it used to make me smile everytime i walked by 8).

its now an architectural book store on wabash just north of congress pkwy.

One thing I remember about 'Psycho' is that for the shower scene Hitchcock had the water on ice cold so the screams for Janet Leigh would be very real. At least that's what those tram guides used to say at Universal Studios.

I love the Evil Dead films. And Bruce is such a great guy.
The blood in the Evil Dead film was a combination of non-dairy creamer, Karo syrup,and red food coloring.
As the story goes, Bruce had set his shirt off to dry, then when he tried to put it back on it fell apart.

Please keep this as an ongoing thing. I love movie trivia. You don't have to solely stick with horror, though I wouldn't mind, but there are many other movies that have to have some great trivia.

Years ago, the guide on the Universal Studios backlot tour told us the Bates House was built on a slightly smaller scale so Anthony Perkins would appear larger than he really is.

Does this sound plausible? I haven't seen Psycho so I don't know if he was kidding.

About two years of nightmares for me featured Chucky as my antagonist. I remember I was about four or five and my mother worked at Blockbuster Video (about right when they started) and for halloween she was asked to paint pumpkins with monsters from scary movies on them. She was painting it in our kitchen and told me not to go in there, but of course I snuck in there when she wasn't looking. I saw the VHS box for Child's Play on the table and studied the pictures, which scared me. Then I turn this pumpkin next to the box around and reveal a painted picture of the doll with a knife and it TERRIFIED me. I remember one of the dreams I had (that I now laugh at) was Chucky was chasing me around my house trying to stab me, and at one point he jumps into a full sized tank and is driving it around the house trying to run me over. I see my father in the living room and I run up to him and say, "DAD! Chucky's chasing me in a tank and is going to kill me!" But then out of the tank pops Park Ranger Smith from Yogi Bear (who was apparently Chucky in disguise) telling my dad that Chucky wasn't there. So my dad doesn't help me, then Chucky reappears as himself and continues to chase me. Hopefully this story was amusing to someone, I feel embarrassed writing this much about myself, haha.

Yeah! I love the Evil Dead trivia stuff. The Evil Dead series is my favourite halloween movies to watch. And thank you once again Stacy for the trivia stuff...so freaking cool.

"Spiderman Sam Raimi"?!? I've never seen the Spiderman movies, but I still think it's funny that he's known for that. I've seen the Evil Dead movies more times than I can count, and everything else he's done (don't forget Hecules and Xena). I named one of my dogs Raimi. bb
