Heh, their English is still way better than my Balinese.

Oh, how I would love to know what that really means.

Maybe it’s one of those squids (Bloopers?) that ate Mario?

So if I order the item on the top right, do I get to choose between scalding and burning, or is the choice already made for me arbitrarily?

Skipweasel, even though it’s Thai :)

The “moustache” here refers to the squid’s tentacles as opposed to the squid’s body. A better translation for the first dish would be “Roasted squid tentacles” (tiny or otherwise).

I would translate the word they translated to “Demon” as “monster.” “Roasted Monster Squid Tentacles.”

And yes – Jayne is right – this is Thai.

The word translated to “demon” would better be translated to “giant” – as that is what it means in Thai. This is truly some abysmal English! Hence, the reason why I still have a job in this country!
