I think cops are evolving to be cooler in each generation. Camaros used to seem really really cool, for a cop car. It’s too bad people decide to be cops in elementary school. Role models, geez!

Its seems to me that they are trying to make kids think that drug use isnt cool anymore. When we all know the truth. I know i would rather be on drugs that driving that.

The D.A.R.E. car in my community was a red mid nineties Camaro for a number of years. It was fitted with graphics too, but not quite as extensive as this.

I once dressed up as the “Dare lion” for the elementary school I lived next to.

That suit was godawful hot, and it turns out I don’t make a good mascot at all.

the funny thing is that i occasionally wrap vehicles, and i can spot several “fail” zones. see how the wrap material is on the plastic moulding around the windows? unless i’m wrong about how those chargers are built, the material won’t stick there for very long. it’s made to conform to sheet metal and fiberglass cars, but certain bumper mouldings that are that auto plastic?… not so good.

oh, and the design is ugly as sin.

The sad thing is we are still wasting money on such a useless thing as DARE after a ten year study it was shown that DARE students are 7% more likely to try drugs.

They have all kinds of DARE cop cars that are all modded out. They even made them into hotwheels models. My hometown elementary school won some sort of award when i was young because “we” designed a cool cop car.

i should actually think about what im going to write before i do it… then i wouldnt have to keep posting. this would actually be great if all cop cars where painted like this. i hate it when im driving reckless and see a white crown vic coming towards me only to find out that it was just some old couple. i so could have continued driving on the sidewalk…
