Neato…but no rama.
The lovely people at Microsoft decided not to include VBA macro support for Excel (or Word) in the 2008 Mac version. So if you’re a Mac user with an updated Office package, you’ll have to get your AC/DC fix someplace else (such as by urinating on an electric outlet).

They embedded a WAV file, and used some VBA trickery to make an ASCII movie in range of merged cells.

From appearances, it just looks like they embedded a movie in the file. But I don’t know enough about it. And, yes, I also wonder about the choice of artist.

Holy wtf. Very Impressive!

This would have been ultimately cooler if they had used some other artist, maybe Snow Patrol. Sorry, but as cool as the result is, it can’t be that hard to find a more 21st century band to debut it.

You mean the .xls file?
Wouldn’t really be anything special in a .exe file that plays a movie.
