Interactive Mirror
(Vimeo link)
Look at all the neat stuff this interactive mirror can do! If I had one of these, I’d never get any real work done. Link -Thanks, alpay kasal!
How smeary would that get? and whose gonna clean it every day?
I like the concept, but use the interactivity+mirror more intensely: I saw the guy designing(?) a t-shirt. How about seeing yourself in an outfit, or with different hairstyles/body mods?. With controlled lighting and webcam sensors, the full doorway/alcove would also lend itself to face-to-face virtual meetings/virtual worlds. It could be a giant Iphone or a vertical Microsoft tabletop. Or maybe you just want a nice interactive background when you are looking at yourself in a mirror.
I want one. How much?
You know a product will be popular when it combines our vanity with our obsession with gadgetry.
I think the design/fashion element is a killer app for it, check out clothes (especially if you can customize tee shirts (move designs, etc.) Try stales etc.
Also combined with the photo gallery things I could see some lady having their fave star on the list and doing their makeup or whatever to match. Add to it people working with the mirror to imitate favorite expressions, etc.
Though if you think women spend too much time in the bathroom. Just think how long they'd take with this installed.
It's just an interactive whiteboard with a mirror instead of the white surface. So what's it good for?
Anyone know what song was playing? I quite liked it.
It's not making you thinner. Useless
I saw something like this in a smart house. You don't actually touch the mirror, but get within an inch of it.
oh man.. how funny would it be if you could record messages or images on it? just think.. you set it up to "play" when someone walks in, of course completely not expecting anything to happen. they sit down on the toilet and the mirror starts talking to them, or illustrates their very private bathroom activities... what a great practical joke it would make.
