I just wanted you to know that I've tried hard to avoid the temptation of posting a lot of political stuff on Neatorama because some of you get all worked up in the comment section, but I couldn't resist this one: the winking Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin in LEGO by
ochre jelly.

The Brothers Brick Please keep the comment section civil, mmkay?
whoops, sorry had a flashback there. Cool Lego structure there, I see the resemblance.
this kind of scares me. reminds me of the robocop face melting scene
Adam Stanhope - I'm not American, so it's hard for me to tell, but it doesn't come across that way here. What is noticeable is that many Europeans that I talk to like Americans but don't like America. Something the US government of whatever colour might like to address at some point.
The fact that a lot of people avoid politics fosters an atmosphere of willful ignorance of this important matter. Please don't give in to those sentiments. While politics is important, it really isn't something so special or different that it should be segregated from discourse and thought. And yes, it absolutely and frequently is neat. It's just another fact of life that's sometimes fun, sometimes frustrating (and sometimes boring, but now that would be outside the scope of neatorama).
Geekazoid - you`re hilarious. Funny how the finger-pointers at republican "trolls" still manage to whine about an innocuous post.
Adam Stanhope, how is this any indication of Neatorama's view of the USA?
Evil: ha ha, you're funny

I don't remember 100,000 people showing up for Palin anywhere.

people just take everything to seriously
It's still only half the size of the rally he had in Germany. But then, Germans love charismatic leaders with few accomplishments but catchy slogans.
The internet is very big place. If some of your visitors feel offended by something that doesn't fall in line with their political views, they can make their own site or take a hike. Scolding you for expressing yourself on your website is just childish.
Anyway, it's funny how the bickering starts over something as innocuous as this.
But...
Damn she looks hot in that pic.
Lying trolls are not neat, neither is feeding the troll by responding to his O'Reilly impersonations. Ignore and he will find some other bridge to snark under.
