The T-Shirt Gave Him Away

How's this for a t-shirt to wear while getting your mug shot taken? This guy was caught at a motel in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky during a drug raid.
In June, officers received a tip about drug activity at the USA Motel on Dixie Highway. Police dogs searched the room and found marijuana packaged for sale, scales and cash.

Police arrested 19-year-old Gregory Griggs and charged him with trafficking marijuana. When arrested Griggs was wearing a T-shirt that read "It's not ILLEGAL unless you get CAUGHT".

Griggs pled guilty and will be sentenced on December first. Link -via Fark

I'm of two minds about this kind of thing. On one hand I don't think it should be illegal. I think the law is only set up to benefit a few industries that would be greatly harmed by marijuana being legalized. On the other hand, its still illegal, and you could get caught like this kid and have your life ruined. Best not to risk it.

How much you want to bet the cops stiffed the motel for the room while it was being used as a crime scene?

I hate hearing about this kinda of crap, maybe I could see wasting the effort and the money to arrest him if the report was that he had a gun, but it sounds like he just decided to make some quick money selling some weed. Where's the harm in that? He's just doing his part to encourage the economy.

I don't think he looks bemused (which means 'confused' or 'preoccupied'). How would an ironic situation (i know, i know, not the 'pure' defination of irony) make someone confused?
