Floating Fish Blimp

Air Art from flip on Vimeo.

Reminiscent of Festo’s Air Ray the Fin-Fish R/C blimp floats like a big fancy silver fish market advertisement in the air. With the fins remotely controlled the Fin-Fish can gracefully float and maneuver about silently and lazily. I can’t wait to get pulled into a new sea food place by this floating blimp creeping up behind me and saying in a pre-recorded voice, “Buy fish here!” and shining a spotlight at the restaurant. ;)

That was so cool. I love the victory dance at the end.

That is some serious awesome! Now if they made a huge steampunk-style people-carrying-size version of that, I would soooooo want a ride.

    @ TwoDragons

Would this also consist of having the ability to drop water balloons down on top of people? ;)

This reminds me a little bit of that mythbuster blimp made out of aluminum foil.

    @ Ali S.

Water balloons sounds like fun...if we're feeling benevolent. Rancid sardines if we're not. ;-)

...and of course, I would absolutely HAVE to have an intelligent white cat named Krosp and an insane middle-aged Norwegian with a white ponytail and red-lensed monocular glasses... /Phil Foglio
