You’ll probably find that most famous people, past and present, had/have their faults. Hitchcock had a thing about blond ice queens but, afaik, he wasn’t a serial philanderer, a drug addict, a pedophile, or a holier-than-thou idiot who preached to the people about using one piece of toilet paper per poo, so I think it’s OK to remember him for his great film work, don’t you? Even the blond ice queens he had a thing about come off great in his films, so…surely, they forgave him.

Hitchcock made some great films but I understand that personally he was a putz. Just ask Tippy Hedron.
