I digress, anyways the American people are tired of the BS that the Republican party has put this country through. No more human pinocchios if only their nose grew when they told lies, the country wud be in a better place. Nevertheless, come November Obama will be in office. & a positive change will occur during his tenure.

Another thing which represents how the republican party likes to steal & sweep the evidence under a rug, for lack of a better word (Enron....America). "Change" was originally Obama's campaign slogan. 6 months into the campaign all of a sudden, because he was getting ripped in half for being Bush's puppet, McCain campaign began to use "change" as their slogan, & I still don't understand the logic b/c he sided w/ Bush the entire time while in office. Where's the change? lol clowns..

I think she's an example for "those ones" not caring what their candidate does as long as they get in the White House b/c lets face it she not qualified @ all. & if McCain were to get in office a kick the bucket she will be a world leader, lol. Scary huh?

I think that Obama saying his grandfather liberated Auschwitz, or his comment about the "57 states, so just one more" are much worse - and I don't hold that against him.

When you're talking and thinking ahead to what you're going to say right after that, you will sometimes say the wrong words. That's why every leader in the world has speeches typed out in front of them. Except for the time directly before an election, there is never a need for them to debate live.

Some posters commented on the format. I understand that they want to see a true "debate" but I think this was the best format at this time. Look, the world is imploding, once again (and during an election year), and I think it best to address some questions that people really wanted answers to. (Although, I don't believe there were any true, clear answers given by either party.) So, a true debate would devolved into one candidate talking over another, certain issues not being addressed, finger pointing, name calling, etc. (Which, to a point, it did...just in a more controlled manner.) if let to run the show on their own, so to speak. Perhaps, in New York, we will get less of the town hall and more of a rabid dog fight, which it seems, some people want.

And please, if you don't like coverage of the political climate on Neatorama, then JUST DON'T READ THAT PART. Simple. In addition, both political party posters need to be civil and stop acting ridiculous. State your case, don't spread lies or rumors, stick to the FACTS, and move on. Sheesh!

And while Barack Obama himself may not have engaged in playing the race-card, his surrogates and supporters have not been shy about it. Comments and tactics that would be viewed as politic-as-usual in other campaigns are now being attacked as "racist."

Only makes me all the more sure that Obama is "that one" we want as POTUS!

Lots of comments on this one. I see the lefties are still calling the righties names, even though they're over-reacting to a simple phrase. What are the odds that he would deliberately use a recognizable racial slur in a televised debate? Not even George W would be that stupid, would he?

No, this is just the lefties grasping at straws when they don't need to. Obama did fine enough in the debate without having to resort to the race card, didn't he? He was a little bland, but he's just not that interesting a person. Neither of them are.

And once again, Adam Stanhope ridicules anybody who disagrees with his point of view - and then criticizes McCain for showing a lack of respect to his opponent!
