I used to have a cat who was accustomed to my putting fresh food in the bowl at 6:30am. He'd be a good sleeping buddy all night, but when 6am rolled around, he'd start pawing at my nose until I got up. Sure do miss that mancat. That’s pretty amusing. Before he passed he had some really bad digestive problems, so we really had to regulate his eating. After a while he knew around what time he was supposed to be fed, so if it was around that time, he'd try to remind you. One of the feeding times was 7 in the morning. So he'd wake you up by standing on your chest if you were sleeping and biting/pulling your hair. This reminds me of my late cat Shredder.
