Are you upside down on your property? Well, maybe you’ll feel better after taking a look at homes and buildings that are actually upside down. Or maybe not.

Urlesque has a pretty neat gallery of upside down buildings from around the world. This one above is actually a 1997 art installation at Harbour Green Park, Vancouver, Canada by Dennis Oppenheim titled "Device to Root out Evil." ("A country church is seen balancing on it’s steeple, as if it had been lifted by a terrific force and brought to the site as a device or method of rooting out evil forces," according to his website)

Before you all buy tickets to Vancouver, the “Device to Root Out Evil” has been moved to Calgary and has been on display for a month.

Yes, it was taken out this summer. I don’t quite remember it with such an eerie glow though : P

I want an upside down house!

When I was a kid I used to walk around the house with a mirror under my eyes so it looked like I was walking on the ceiling. This was before video games and cable t.v.

I once stuck a pair of stripey socks sticking out from under that point in the roof, thinking I was an awesome guerilla artist.

I don’t think anyone noticed, and now it’s gone. Sigh.
