There was a small section of back to school items (notebooks, pencils, etc., none of it college-specific) and right next to it was sets of kitchen knives. And on the other side of the knives was halloween items. I'm not sure whether they were thinking kids needed knives to go back to school, or knives make for an exciting halloween. I have to say, if I were going away to college, I'd be a bit miffed to receive a knife set illustrated by a 12 year old.
