Pic-Glasso Strikes Again: Art on Empty Milk Bottles

Photo: CATERS NEWS

A mysterious artist dubbed the "Pic-glasso" by residents of Stourbridge, England, has been taking empty milk bottles from doorsteps and then returning them with elaborate etched pictures!

The artist, dubbed "Pic-glasso" by locals around Stourbridge, West Mids, scratches out frescos of farmyard scenes and animals.

Now some are so keen to find out the identity of the artist they are staying up all night.

Great little mystery. What's even better is to to hear that people are still getting home delivery of milk in this world. Stopped in my area over 50 years ago.

No mystery. Mail online has the story.
"Now, however, the Daily Mail can identify the person behind the milk bottle creations as Charlotte Hughes-Martin.

The 30-year-old artist said she had been motivated by a desire to show how 'domestic, everyday objects can be things of beauty too'.

The ex-lecturer, who works from a studio in a former glass factory said she had been dropping off batches of her work at random addresses for months."
2 minuets of research, Mystery over.

I sure wish we got milk delivery here. It would sure beat carting three gallons of milk up a flight of stairs every week.

(Yes, we drink that much milk!)
