Don Hertzfeldt created Ah, L'Amour in 1995 as an 18-year-old student at the University of California Santa Barabara. It was his first film. Ah, L'Amour has been posted here a couple of times, but the embedded video was always pulled do to licensing rights. Now Atom Films has obtained those rights, so you can enjoy it! http://www.bitterfilms.com/index2.html to Hertzfeld's site. -Thanks, Katherine!

The best part is where he stops at Big Bertha, then goes on without talking to her. Shows he's not completely one-sided about the whole love thing.

Miss Orange, did the animation say that the one girl was fat and ugly? Or are you projecting your own impression of beauty on it?
That's why I thought it was a good scene: here's the guy going after the good-looking chicks, and you feel sorry for him. When he shows the "ugly" chick, however, the animator is showing that maybe the stick dude can be just as shallow as the stick chicks he's trying to score with.
NEATO!!!!!!!!
...and firithlotiel, it took me a couple of seconds to discover why you are less than three :)
I'm glad I'm not a guy.

9 minutes long, somewhat loud and not entirely kid-friendly but it IS inventive.
@Brian, he's done a lot for The Animation Show
