Warning Sign

Well, this should be effective.

Occasionally, even I run across a message, so clear and so profound, that design of the presentation would do little to make it any clearer.

We once put a sign on the optics bench that said “Danger, 10,000 Ohms!” The janitors didn’t mess with it after that.

Of course, there’s the classic “Do not look at laser with remaining eye.”

Aren’t Ohms used to measure resistance?

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve touched the inside of a BDFB just like that I’d have…well…maybe a few hundred dollars.

They’re pretty safe as long as you don’t go sticking a wrench in them or something.

I would have to touch it.

After a while though I’d probably get bored and walk away.
