A bunch of people wandering around in the desert or talking to people who "definitely" had talked to someone who once knew someone who had died mysteriously, possibly killed by the worm. Nothing was found out, no real conclusion made. Which has lead me to believe that this worm is smart as well, managing to stay under the radar when it needs to. I remember seeing a documentary about this worm a couple of years ago.
