Is that a kungfu studio? A martial arts supply store? No - that is the Kungfu fast food restaurant chain in China!

Their food is ok…very much a chinese fast-food chain. Some of the pot rice are nice, but yea, fast food.

In case some people don’t know; the term kungfu doesn’t just mean a type of martial art. It also means labour, work, and/or hard working. The Chinese name of that place is call “real kungfu.” Which also implies that their food are of the labourious type thus tasty.

If they spread far enough, it could give new meaning to the stereotype “everyone in China knows Kung Fu…”

Its name in Chinese is actually “zhen gong fu”, simply means “real hard work”. This chain locates mainly in the southeast part of China, such as Shenzhen, shanghai… I like their food. Their food aren’t like the American fast food which are very greasy and high in calory. They are light and probably more healthy.

And once more, not every one in China knows Kungfu… In fact, very few. But be careful if you are travelling to Dengfeng City of Henan province(which is my hometown), as that’s where Shaolin Temple is and Martial Arts are really popular there.

Hmmm I doubt Bruce Lee would be happy about this. Bruce is alway pro healthy stuff.

However could make some fun of what might be on the menu.

A double Whooping. Nuckchuck chicken sticks.
