That third vegetable instrument also doubles as a sex toy.

It would be interesting to have an organ in a cemetery with pipes coming from each grave. You could hear the screams of those buried alive at different pitches.

The Zadar Sea Organ is awesome, and the Croatians didn't demolish a cemetery to build it. The sound comes out from holes below the steps:

"Every concert takes about 90 pounds of vegetables, but they don’t go to waste – afterward, some of the veggies are made into soup"

--> the people eating the soup DO KNOW that the musicians blow into them right... meaning spittle gets into the vegginstruments... kinda gross.

Still, anything to get kids to eat their greens. ^_^

There's also The Great Stalacpipe Organ of Luray Caverns in Virginia. They have a large organ keyboard wired to dozens of solenoids which tap the stalactites. The stalactites are spread throughout the caverns and were chosen for their resonant frequencies. Microphones pick up the sounds which are mixed, amplified and fed to speakers.
