		<description>You&#039;re almost right! The ship on the photo is NAeL Minas Gerais, the Brazilian aircraft carrier that was written off in 2002. The Minas Gerais is the former HMS Vengeance and a sister of the 25 de Mayo/Karel Doorman. The photo was taken in 2004. In 1996 I sailed on this ship for five days. She was the oldest active carrier in the world, built in WW2.</description>

		<description>Looks like the Doorman (Dutch), with the angled deck.  Venerable (Brit) was a straight deck prior to delivery to the Dutch.  At least according to links in Wikipedia.</description>
