Do you hold crop circles to be passe because they have been explained? Or because they haven't?

If you know how they were created please tell!

They haven't stopped occurring by the way -
for example <a href="http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2008/cherhill/P8087970b.jpg" rel="nofollow">this </a> is an August 08 formation in the UK (one of many 2008 formations, worldwide)

It's aliens, I tell ya... aliens! The feet of their flying saucers melt the ice in a circular pattern, leaving a large circle of unmelted ice in the middle.

As mentioned in the English Russia site comments of this news (it's rare to have an interesting comment on this site, the users totally s*** unlike at Neatorama) this is man made and not natural.
One of the pictures shows a guy next to circles that are not achieved in the ice.
Apart of that, I think that it's a beautiful concept.

I remember looking across the water at Wasaga Beach, Ontario. It was deep winter and out in the bay it was just huge donuts of ice against the black water.
And also, when ice fishing I noticed small particles of ice joining each other and forming rings.

I think the circle is a most profound shape, and it is behind most if not all natural processes.

Humankind however, for the most part, thinks in a more linear crooked kind of way. And it's a reason for a lot of our problems.
