Beakman’s World was a kids’ science show in the nineties. Today’s Lunchtime Quiz at mental_floss tests how well you remember the show. I am shocked that I scored 82%, since I never saw the show! Sometimes common sense (and a bit of TV production knowledge) comes in handy. Link

    Haha, I was SO PUMPED that I got my letter answered on the show.

    It was the Antony van Leeuwenhoek skit about germs, if anyone recalls.

    I love Beakman’s world :D But there’s something wrong with the quiz for me (as with all the Mental Floss quizzes) it’s showing different answers to the ones I chose. Anyhoo, I used to watch Beakman’s World on TCC back in the day. Lester was my favourite.

    This was truly a great show. I loved Beakman!!!

    //Mental Floss lost me when they changed a few months ago to a different commenting procedure. It sucks.

    I just watched Beakman’s World last weekend… either they’re still filming, or it was a rerun, but it was as entertaining as ever.
