The Antique Poison Bottle Hall of Fame

I collect antique cobalt glass, and I would love to have this old poison bottle! It’s part of the The Antique Poison Bottle Hall of Fame, where you’ll find all kinds of poison bottles submitted by owners from all over. Link -via Everlasting Blort

kind of makes you wonder… why would anyone buy a bottle of POISON?

seems like an accident waiting to happen…

You buy poison to get rid of rats or bothersome spouses.

I also collect antique poison bottles!! I only have about 25 but they’re great and I covet the one pictured. (My sister bought a small farm with an old farmhouse. She has promised to let me excavate the old outhouse! Only a bottle collector will understand that statement)

That bottle is hilarious. Definitely something you want to get rid of if someone close to you mysteriously dies…

you can see the reflection of the photographer in the bottle. At first I thought I was seeing my own reflection in the monitor.
