Is there such a thing as being too perfect? Apparently so, at least in dentistry where perfectly symmetrical and overly white teeth actually make you less beautiful:
Dr. Jeff Golub-Evans, a dentist on the Upper East Side, encourages
patients to allow him to slightly rotate a tooth, or to vary the length of teeth. “What I’ve found is that if someone has perfectly symmetrical features and you put perfectly symmetrical teeth on that face, you ruin their face,” he said.
What? Don't believe me? Just look at Regis' teeth!
They Look like the teeth that Fred From Scooby Doo had.
One massive zinc white one on top and another below.
my cousin got vaneers, and i noticed them IMMEDIATELY. the funny thing was, i never even noticed his teeth before, and i always thought everyone in my family had great smiles. i mean, none of us have particularly white or straight teeth, but we all have great smiles. the first time i saw my cousin after he got the procedure done, it was like he was advertising for a car dealership; they looked sooo fake. that was also the first time i saw vaneers in person (as opposed to those on TV) and they completely turned me off of the whole idea. it looked like he had a mouth full of white chicklets. i'm proud of my stained, slightly crooked teeth, even if i went through 2 years of braces. but they're MY teeth, dammit! plus, what good is it to "appear" to have good teeth? they may LOOK good, but they could easily be rotting from the inside-out. i choose healthy teeth over pretty ones.
A Snaggle toothed gal is a treat.
Perfection is slightly repulsive.
snaggletooth girls are h.o.t.!
