That’s not a treehouse,it’s an add-on room, and it kind of goes against what treehouses are supposed to be about. I don’t think I’d want a dad who was that over the top. The fun in all this was probably more for him than the kids.

Interesting, but I’ve seen a book of treehouses before, and although elaborate, it is far from the best treehouse ever.

Electricity and TV in a tree house? What’s the point, then? A treehouse is supposed to be a place to get away from that crap.

Yeah more photos would have been cool.

BTW, it’s actually Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I grew up there and built some pretty impressive tree houses myself, one that was three stories high, built out of pilfered construction rubbish from a subdivision being built there in the late 60s.
