It never ceases to amaze me that people with the fiscal wherewithal to do something really interesting - rarely do. A million USD can get you around the world, in a slow and leisurely manner such that you can drink in the experience (among a myriad other options); and that's less interesting than basically having an overpriced hotel staycation? Kinda makes one sympathetic to the idea that wealth SHOULD be redistributed... Agreed. It never ceases to amaze me that people with the fiscal wherewithal to do something really interesting – rarely do.
