25 Internet Startups That Bombed Miserably

For every internet success story, there are many more failures. Most just disappeared quietly, but these 25 had rather public flameouts. Why did they fail? Some offered a product no one needed. Go is still around - so technically, it did not fail.

However, it did not fully live up to its potential

I miss Webvan. It was so nice to have someone else haul my groceries upstairs, as well as do the shopping. I would have paid for delivery to keep the service going.

What, no Cuil? That thing launched, sharkjumped, and bombed all in less than 48 hours… that has to be a record.

    LOL @ SoLo

Yeah I tried Cuil and its results are bad. Maybe it is just teething as it has only just been launched.
