Otter Nonsense!

[YouTube - Link]

It's Friday. So, what does this mean? Time to drown ourselves in furry Otter madness. I present to you baby Otters and tons of them squeaking and quieting down in unison at the New Forest Otter, Owl & Wildlife Park. [via - Cute Overload!]

*squeak squeak* pause *squeak squeak* pause ;)

@ kat

You can always get the next best thing as a pet...a Ferret! From what I've experienced Ferrets are loving and adorable and a bit cheeky.

@ Alex

I'm guessing they either are calling for their parents or they see their handlers with food.

poor folk.
your comments are non-responsive and certainly sad. open your eyes. at least open your ears to what is happening. have you ever been caged?

It's just too cute for words. Otters are one of the coolest animals ever.

And jenny has a point. It's doubtful that they are in cramped quarters and that they are miserable.

Awesome! Care to divulge to us what you thought of that park?

I just realized...my insomnia is at an all time high. It's 5:06 am here where I am in Canada! :o Thank goodness it's a Saturday.

@Ali S.

I really thought it was a beautiful place. The animals are well taken care of, they are not cramped, and the people who work there really care about what they are doing.

When I first saw this post, I was not sure which otter place it was, because the first time I was out here in the UK, my hubby to be took me to both this one and the other one, whose name escapes me now.

The other otter sanctuary was called Tamar. I knew the coffee would jog my memory eventually! Both are incredible and if you are ever in the UK, and this is your sort of thing, I recommend both.

Something tells me these fuzzy squeakers are just being pampered for a bit before they--and the litters they produce--are returned to the wild where they belong. They're probably part of a breeding program.

Makes me miss my ferrets again...*sigh* Nothing like eight hyper mustelids bouncing around your ankles to put you in a good mood!
