Oh man. It sounded like the pillars of building groaning from the weight. I think the female spider is a fake since it looks like it’s attached to a stick. I think the male spider got angry over that.

Ali: she’s just frozen in shock that he can dance so well.
but honestly, that was the coolest thing Ive seen in a while. these critters (jumping spiders) simply fascinate me…in the creepy way that they stalk me when I’m out sitting on my veranda.

I didn’t hear any moaning at all, but I did hear a cross between my favorite typewriter and a small Kawasaki.

I took the kids to see a “Live Bugs from Around the World” show today. The presenter told us to look up jumping spiders on youtube, so I did. He had this big African Millipede that the kids got to touch. It reminded me of a snake with hundreds of squiggly little legs underneath. Bugs and spiders are really interesting. I think I enjoyed the show as much as the kids did.

All that and she’s just going to devour him afterwards. Hardly seems worth it.

I’m still not sure if that was interesting or horrifying. I’m a bit creeped out, and I like bugs.

It was the antenna movements that got me. “You are getting sleepy… despite all the noise I’m making…and you think I’m hot and want to be the mother of my 200 children…”
