Odd-Looking Marine Animals

The ocean is a huge environment, and we’ve only explored small portions of it. Here are some sea creatures that range from beautiful to scary, and all are just plain strange. Pictured is the umbrella mouth gulper eel. Link

A lot of those are awesome shots, but I always feel rage when I see pictures or video of deep-sea animals dragged up to the surface so they explosively decompress.

I can’t say I felt rage myself but it certainly was a little gross to see the stomach in the mouth. :X

Well, that’s twice I’ve been put off my feed today. (First time was sniffing rotten chicken from the fridge.) Yikes.

The Gulper Eel reminds me of Adam.
