I've eaten asparagus pizza in Germany and it was good! They have tuna pizzas here, too, which is kinda gross to me.

Never had it, but saw horsemeat as a pizza topping just outside of Venice a coupla years ago.

Just looking at a few places, I thought I'd give some examples of Pizza Brasileiro.

Verona: Shimp and garlic
Trieste: Tuna, mixed seafood and garlic
Siena: Chicken, mushrooms, peppers and eggs
Cagliari: Mushrooms, corn, peppers, and banana
Catania: Ham, pineapple, and olives
Genova: Salami, peppers and anchovies
Napoli: Ham, mushrooms, artichoke, asparagus and egg
From Pizza Hut:
Coreana: Mozarella, creamy cheddar cheese, chicken and mushrooms
Super Supreme: Mozarella, bovine and suine meats, italian sausage, ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell pepper and olives
Paulista: Mozarella, chicken, corn and Pizza Hut requeijão (special cream cheese).
The only problem with the Pizza Hut there was that it was roughly the equivalent of paying 30 dollars for a large pizza.
My favorite was dessert pizza with banana, cinnamon and goiabada.

Pepperoni and onions are the only things that count as "toppings". Cheese and tomato sauce and spices and herbs are what MAKES it a pizza; those are not toppings.

There is a Wisconsin exemption for Sausage, Mushrooms and Onions, but that's as far as we'll go. It's only an exemption, and NO OTHER EXEMPTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED!!

Sheesh.

In Trinidad, there are ketchup, mustard and pepper sauce bottles on the table instead of parmesan cheese. EVERYONE adds it to their pizza. They thought I was weird that I not only didn't, but that I thought they were weird.

Egg is also a very rare on pizza, but you could have it.

I thought egg on pizza was normal until I read this, a very common pizza in England is the Fiorentina - Spinach and Egg is a superb combination, I always ask for extra mushrooms too

I recall being berated in NYC by Al the Jewish cowboy about how the rest of the world are basket cases when it comes to pizza.

He included Italians on the list.

Only NYC pizza counted as Pizza according to Al.

He made me laugh but he was wrong.

A raw egg on a pizza is a joy, as are a lot of things, but I draw the line at pineapple, that is just evil.

Dream Pizza

Thin and crispy base great tomato sauce, mozarella.

Then, artichoke hearts, anchovies, egg, ham, capers, onion, chicken.

It is a joy.

The best pizza in the world (in my humble opinion) is the Veneziana from Pizza Express (no, I don't work for them!) It has capers, pine kernals and sultanas on, with loads of onions and gloopy cheese. Some of the price goes to the crumbling Venice fund.

hell pizza is a chain we have here in New Zealand, https://www.hell.co.nz/site.jsp?city=Auckland&p=false they have a really good gimmick going, they have hursts for deliveries and recently bought a soul off the local online auctions site (like ebay) they also have the cute pizza boxes that have a punch out coffin shape for left overs

Brazillian pizzas are great. There are so many options that you can get crazy! Including sweet ones (like chocolate or even ice cream).

The pizza with boiled eggs (sliced) is called "portuguese": it takes eggs, cheese, ham, onions. There is a special cream cheese called "Catupiry" that is mixed with chicken and makes a famous one called "chicken with Catupiry".

Anyway... go to Brazil (specially Sao Paulo) and enjoy the best pizas in the world

In San Francisco some places are actually offering breakfast pizzas with egg and stuff on top. That's why I love pizzas, you can pretty much put anything on it, whether dessert style or regular pizza meal style.

Egg (not boiled but raw so it cooks in the oven) and bacon on a pizza is the best. Or french fries, also a winner. In fact, there are not many things that won't work on a pizza.

Except pineapple. Death to anyone putting pineapple on pizzas.

Speaking of Glasgow and deep frying, I'd love to test one of their delicacies: Deep fried Mars bar!

I've heard that pizzerias in Iceland offer grape or strawberry jelly with their pizzas. I'd like to try that. The thousand island pizza doesn't sound that odd to me, because I love Reubens and tend to dip my pizza in Ranch dressing.

eggs (not hard boiled but just cracked on the dough and cooked in the oven) and asparagus are excellent pizza toppings.

frankly i'm amazed they aren't international norms... in fact is there anything you CAN'T have on a pizza?

The only real regional weirdness i know of is the trend of glasgow take aways to deep fry frozen pizzas... in batter.

I know it sounds weird but I LOVE to put ketchup on my pizza. No matter what kind of pizza it is I put cold ketchup on it! I love the weird mix of hot pizza and cold ketchup when I take a bite.
