If you can afford a 5,000 Euro carafe, you probably don’t have to worry about washing it yourself and can pay others to worry about that, as well as accomplish it.

They are pretty neat looking, though.

I’d worry about pouring out of them without making a mess before I’d worry about washing them.

They look too distressingly like blood vessels to whet my appetite for any wine …

GOOD design is always practical, too.

It’s a neat art project, for sure, very creative and violates standard thinking. But I’d much prefer a lovely cut crystal decanter in my home. Speaking of which…anyone want to send me a crystal decanter?

Vessels made of glass or plastic that are oddly shaped can be easily cleaned with denture cleaning products like Efferdent.

5,000 euros for a piece of glass behind an idea. Unbelievable.

I’d buy that. Then after I’d made a spectacle of myself at some beach house dinner party with it, I’d have a glassman melt it down and turn into something else, like I dunno, a vase or something.

Make a spectacle of yourself, and then spectacles out of the glass?

Seems kind of useless, considering skinny little ‘vessels’ won’t allow air in for the wine to open up and breathe.
