Search Engine Spelling Bee by Converse

By Alex in Blogs & Internet on Jun 23, 2008 at 7:03 pm

Neatorama reader Chet Gulland recommended this strange (and a little easy) little "Search Engine" spelling bee by Converse.

It’s a little experiment/viral ad using Google Adwords, where to get to the next round, you have to spell the word right in Google …

Link - Thanks Chet!

    Clever except for two things:
    - I use Adblock so I don’t see the ads.
    - In Firefox, the correct spelling appears in the search box list as I type. Makes it even easier!

I have the same problem, also the website streams rather than loads all in one go, which means it’s stops mid word which is confusing. Also, it’s kind of hard to understand what the word is because of his accent… no offense meant to any Australians… I’m sure some of you couldn’t understand a thick Northern English or Yorkshire accent, so you get my point…

I was wondering what the point of that page was. Good to know Adblock did its thing.
