The aftermath of such a parade (these days) is quite interesting. The Fire Department hoses down the streets, turning the blowing paper into a slush. Then with brooms the Sanitation Department moulds the slush into piles and picks it up.

Jesse Owens is as much to blame for ALLOWING himself to be made to ride the freight elevator - as those who told him of the hotel’s policy.

Had he stood up to them - he could have been the Rosa Parks of the civil rights movement.

Which means that the movement could have started two decades before the bus boycott.

The media and the public attention would have been in his favor -especially in light of the terror of Hitler.
