Wasn't it the bike courier's bicycle that was made of paper?

I forget the name of the actual novel...hang on I looked it up, it's virtul light.

Also I am fairly sure that the bike in the article is a Beull, as it has the in line V engine from a Hardly Davidson.

Nopwe, it is a Yamaha MT-0, which is weird as it so looks like Beull.

Thanks for posting this one.
I am crossing my fingers that some Neatorama member will actually be ambitious enough to create one.

Personally, I lack the patience.

Amazing structure.

I'm pretty sure William Gibson has mentioned bikes with ultra-light paper frames in a few of his books. This is the logical end of that process, a bike with a paper frame, paper engine, and paper wheels.

That's maybe not so crazy...<a href="http://technology.newscientist.com/article/dn14084-new-superpaper-is-stronger-than-cast-iron.html?DCMP=ILC-hmts&nsref=news6_head_dn14084" rel="nofollow">nanopaper </a> may be the next big thing.
